Roborís Sasol accreditation opens new doors for pipe systems

Robor a proud South African manufacturer and supplier of welded steel tube and pipe, cold formed steel profiles and associated value-added products and services, became an accredited Sasol Supplier in August 2012.
To acquire Sasol accreditation, candidates are subjected to a very stringent process which demands high standards and controls.  Sasol's accreditation places a great deal of emphasis on Occupational Health and Safety; Quality control and mandatory procedures; Environmental Responsibilities and BBBEE Accreditation.  The certification requires rigorous audits to ensure that these vital principles are adhered to and upheld.   
 
The endorsement enables the Robor Group to supply all engineering contractors and steelwork fabricators with quality pipe, fittings and flanges required for high pressure piping system projects.  “Becoming a Sasol accredited supplier, is by no means an easy undertaking” says Caren Gill, Robor Pipe Systems Director responsible for the Petrochemical market segment. “Sasol have various pillars of criteria which include quality, price, on-time delivery and an accredited BBBEE certification, which Robor have achieved.  We furthermore achieved a five star rating for service excellence, in a recent Sasol supplier survey” Gill said.
