continually improve its product and services offering. In addition to
its comprehensive product range, the company also offers a number of value added services both for steel pipe conveyance systems and tubular
products. These services include coupling systems, corrosion and
abrasion protection, flanging systems, manufacture of pipe fittings, hot
dip galvanising, cutting and bending of tube, pipe, plate and long
products, swaging, fabrication, ring rolling, robotic welding and
painting.

Robor is an ISO 14001 certified company. The company, as stated in its
Group Environmental Policy, is committed towards actively reducing its
carbon footprint by reducing electricity usage, as well as putting in
place carbon emissions reduction plans, recycling of waste and, where
possible, eliminating pollution and or implementing pollution mitigating
measures. Divisions are responsible and accountable at all levels of
management for continual performance improvement. Performance is
measured, assessed and audited both internally and externally.
Management Buy-out
In December 2006 Robor was purchased from the Barloworld Group by a
management led consortium.
