Robor Open Sections – Cold Formed Steel Sections

Offering a complete range of cold formed steel profiles for framing of farm sheds, greenhouses, chicken coops and piggeries, Robor Open Sections’ product range includes lipped channels and angles, top hats, zeds, plain channels, equal and unequal angles. The division also offers special sections such as greenhouse gutters and clips.

Robor Tube – Hot Rolled Steel Tube and Pipe

This division offers mechanical and structural tubing for the framing of agricultural
buildings and associated applications. Products include:

• Borehole casings

• Centre pivots

• Gates and fencing

• Greenhouses and hydroponics

Robor Tube also supplies conveyance tubing for water to SABS 62 in both uncoated and hot dipped galvanized pipe, as well as standpipes and borehole exacts.

Robor Precision Tube – Cold Rolled Tube and Pipe

The product range from this specialised Robor division includes a complete range of cold rolled, hot rolled and pre-galvanized tube used in the manufacture of chicken feeders, green houses and garden tools. Value added services such as cutting, bending, swaging, are also offered.

Robor Value Added Steel Services – Drawn Steel Sections

This division offers heavy structural square and rectangular tube used in the
manufacture of farm implements such as ploughs and planters.

Robor Galvanizers – Hot Dip Galvanizing

The Robor Galvanizers’ plant processes irrigation pipes through its 14 metre kettle. A multi purpose 7.2 metre kettle also enables the division to process smaller sections and profiles. All galvanizing is done in accordance with SANS 121 (ISO 1461).
