Robor’s presence in the automotive industry extends to three of its business units – Tube, Precision Tube, and Steel Services.

Robor Tube – Hot Rolled Steel Tube and Pipe

Robor Tube manufactures various structural items for the industry in graded YS300 steel. These include roll bars in stock cars, tow bars and bull bars.

Robor Precision Tube – Cold Rolled Tube and Pipe

A complete range of cold rolled and drawn tubing products are supplied to the
automotive industry. These include rounds, ovals, squares and rectangles
manufactured according to customer specifications. Internally scarfed, perforated
and pre-galvanized tube is also available. Robor Precision Tube has extensive
capabilities to cut, bend, swage, reduce, notch and provide other value added services.

These products are used in the manufacture of impact beams, seat frames, exhausts,
roll bars, catalytic converters, shock absorbers and many other automotive components.
All products are manufactured according to certification TS 16949.

Robor Steel Services – Drawn Steel Sections

The division supplies special drawn round tube, used for spacers and axles, as well as square tube, used in the manufacture of cabs for roll-over protection.
