Hot dip galvanizing is a method of
corrosion protection for carbon steel. The steel is cleaned of rust,
mill scale and other contaminants, and is dipped into molten zinc at a
temperature of 450ºC. This produces a coating of iron-zinc alloys with
a pure zinc coating on the extreme outer surface.
Robor’s extensive galvanizing facilities
coupled with its experience in the industry ensure products are coated
with an honest protective coating, providing a high quality, durable
covering with extended longevity.
